Amelyn Ng is a Singaporean-Australian architect, cartoonist, and Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her research-led practice explores architecture as media: as environmental matter and as the representation of information. By addressing the technics and politics of representation, her work aims to expand architecture’s capacities for counter-narratives and non-canonical knowledge. Amelyn's work has appeared in Providence, Prague, Shenzhen, Berlin, Venice, and Melbourne, and her writing can be found in publications such as e-flux, PLAT, Cultural Politics, and the Journal of Architectural Education.
